120,000 students gear up for 100PLUS Super Cup
Over 120,000 students from over 2,000 schools throughout the
country will compete in the inaugural 100PLUS Super Cup football
programme which was officially launched at Wisma FAM in Kuala
Lumpur yesterday.
The 100PLUS Super Cup, which involves the Ministry of Education
and 100PLUS, Malaysia's No. 1 isotonic sports drink, is a
nationwide inter-school football programme for three age-group
categories - U-12, U-15 and U-18.
The programme, costing RM1.5 million over the next two years,
is jointly managed by 100PLUS and the Malaysian Sports Council
(MSSM).
The funds from the sponsorship will go towards organisational
costs, purchase of football equipment, jerseys, trophies and
equipment. In addition, 100PLUS will be provided to all players
during competitions.
"100PLUS strongly believes in junior development programmes.
Our track record in recent years show just how serious we
are about contributing to the improvement of sport,"
